1. Who do I contact to get a copy of my transcript?
You need to contact the University's Registration and Records department online or at (402) 472-3544. They can help you get your transcript.
2. What is the association's football policy?
The alumni association has a limited number of tickets provided for in the "For Members Only" football program that is advertised in the summer issue of the Nebraska Magazine which is mailed to members in June. Membership households may request 1 pair of tickets to 1 game that we have tickets available for. The association tries to have 2 to 4 games to choose from. Tickets are limited and demand always exceeds supply so a lottery system is used to determine who receives the tickets. Life membership does receive priority over annual membership.
3. What about football tickets to away games?
All away game tickets are allotted to any alumni sponsored tour. If the tour does not sell out then single game tickets will be sold in a package of game ticket/Husker Huddle ticket (if there is a Huddle at the game city) approximately 2 weeks before game day. Read more about our football ticket policy here.
4. How do I get season football tickets?
The alumni association does not provide season tickets. You need to contact the Husker Athletics ticket office at 1-800-8BIGRED or huskers.com.
5. What about other sports tickets?
The alumni association does not sell tickets to any other sporting event. The association does not receive enough requests to sell out all tickets as many other sports have more then 6 scheduled games at home.
6. I want to contact some old classmates. Can you give me their addresses?
Federal legislation does not permit the association to provide mail or email addresses without permission, so we pass these requests along through our Find-a-Friend program.
If you are a Nebraska Alumni Association member looking for a fellow UNL alum or friend, please contact us at 888-353-1874 or alumni@huskeralum.org. If you are an association member, and we can verify that the address or email address of your acquaintance exists in our database, we will send a postcard to the alum or friend with a request to contact you directly.

7. I'm trying to find information about relatives that went to the University. Can you help?
If you can provide us with basic information, (name, and time frame attending the University) we can see if we have any information on that person. We can check our records, bio files, and yearbooks. This does take time so we might not be able to get back to you immediately but we do try to make contact as quickly as we can. If the person did not graduate from the University our information may be very limited.
8. How do I start an alumni chapter in my area?
We are pleased when engaged alumni want to organize other Huskers in their area. As a rule, in order to start a chapter, there should be be at least 250 alumni in a 50-mile radius of the intended area. For further information please contact contact Bob Stelter, Director of Chapter Relations at the association.
9. How do I submit a class note for printing in your publications?
Please submit your class notes through our online form, which can be found here.
10. Does the alumni association have an archive of UNL yearbooks?
Alumni in Lincoln are welcome to stop by the Wick Alumni Center (1520 R St.) to view past University of Nebraska-Lincoln yearbooks. The yearbooks (beginning in 1883) can also be found online through the Archives of the UNL Libraries at yearbooks.unl.edu.
