As special projects assistant, Vi Schroeder assists with communications and alumni programs and oversees special projects. In addition, she helps coordinate the Volunteer Opportunity Bank, Huskers for Higher Education, Grad Finale and senior programs.

Schroeder joined the Nebraska Alumni Association staff in July 2011. Previously, she worked for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in various administrative management positions in communications and business and finance.

A native of Waterloo, Iowa, Schroeder and her husband, Peter, have two adult children, Talea and Zachary.
